Baby Gear: Stroller Accessories

 As a follow-up to my Baby Gear: Strollers & Car Seats post, I received several questions about which stroller gear I use. I'll start by saying that gear is ONLY beneficial if you will truly use it and need it, so everything I share today are things that do make our lives easier or have worked well to keep Emerson cozy among the varying weather/seasons in New York.  

Stroller Organizers/Hooks:

  • Britax Stroller Organizer - We use this on our Uppababy Cruz and I love this organizer because it is extremely sturdy and also spacious. There are room for two beverages, where I usually keep one for Emmy and one for me. In the center of the organizer is a storage pocket that is a really nice size. I can always throw in my keys, baby sunscreen, a few wipes, lip balm and my little credit card holder.

  • Skip Hop Grab & Go Stroller Organizer - I picked this up at Target since the Uppababy G-Luxe (our umbrella stroller) doesn't have a lot of storage space. I love this because there is a zip-off wallet that you can keep valuables in and take with you in your bag. This wipes clean and has a lot of storage space. Again, two slots for drinks which has become a must for us!

  • Bag hooks - This item is not necessary but totally up to you! Since I live in Brooklyn, I often walk to the grocery store, farmer's market and around the neighborhood doing errands. Even with great storage underneath it is so helpful to have a hook to use for a lighter bag or an extra place to store things. This is one I file under "nice to have."

Insert: 

  • Uppababy Infant Insert - I really LOVED this item and used it for about 7+ months. There are two sides to the insert for different weather, one that is warmer and one that allows air flow. I loved that the headrest propped Emmy's head up a bit so she wasn't laying flat on the toddler seat. This one is a must for me if you have an Uppababy stroller!

 Weather Items:

  • Foam Fan - In the heat of the summer in New York I have loved used a stroller fan for airflow. Emmy really loves it too and I find it helps her nap on-the-go, since she's used to having some cool airflow in her room at home. A foam fan is nice because

  • Snack Tray

  • 7 a.m. Enfant Warmmuffs (a must!)
